Geoffrey's blog

You may or may not know me, but let me introduce myself very quickly:
My name is Geoffrey, commonly referred to as “speedking” on the internet. I’m a Computer Science student at Northumbria University in Newcastle and I’m currently in my first year. I lived in France for 14 years, then moved to england where I’ve been living ever since. This does mean that my first language is french, english being my second.

Why this blog you may ask? It’s very simple: For a while now i’ve been updating a blog at http://compagnon.me.uk , however the posts on there are in french. It makes sense that I would choose french as the language in which I write my blog since it is my first language; however it would also make a lot of sense for me to write it up in english, since I now live in the UK.
Since i can’t really do both on one blog, I have decided to open a new one. The english blog won’t simply be a daft translation of the french blog or vice-versa; rather I will sometimes post on here, other times I will post on the french blog. If it is something important that I want to share with everyone, then I will post it on both.

This isn’t going to be a news/gadget/fashion/whatever blog, i’s just going to be me talking about my life, my opinions, things I like, things I want to share.
